




Yields Two 16-oz servings
2 Leaves of Kale
1 Carrots
1 Frozen Banana
1/2 Apple
1/2 Cup Sweet Pineapple
1 Cup of Ice
1 Cup of Water
- Wash kale, carrots, and pineapple.
- Chop up all vegetables and fruit and place into blender (Vitamix is ideal.)
- Add water and ice.
- Blend.
Think of this as a sweet way to sneak more leafy greens into your diet.
You can always use previously frozen fruits to throw into your smoothie! That way, you don’t have to spend time washing and cutting them or adding extra ice. All you have to do is blend!
Another trick is cutting up a lot of the ingredients and then storing them in the freezer for later with labels on the containers. So when you’re in the mood for the Lean & Green Smoothie just find all the frozen ingredients, throw them in the blender, add water and blend. Quick & easy!
