At Mission Lean we help our members achieve lean bodies. To get lean, toned and lose belly fat, you need to know a few “secrets” that most people don’t. If they did, then losing weight wouldn’t be the top New Year’s Resolution every year. Luckily, we’re here to get you the six-pack you’ve always wanted and this next tip is going to get you there.
If you’re eating out regularly and you want to control your caloric intake at the same time, ask your waiter for your sauce and/or dressing on the side. This one trick will save you thousands of wasted calories within any given week, certainly if you’re eating out more than once per week. This is typical for salads but you can also do this for entrees, which are often doused in sauces. Few people ever think to make this request.
Most restaurants use sauces and dressings liberally on the food they’re serving. By training yourself to request the dressing on the side, not only will you be eliminating these unnecessary calories, but you’ll also be training your taste buds to feel satisfied with less. Assuming you’re making healthy choices at the restaurant, you’ll feel satiated from whole foods and eliminate cravings for good.
Lean down and tone up by getting your dressing and sauce on the side. You’ll end up using probably half (or even less) than the amount that would have been served on the dish.
