What is consistency?

Routines make us who we are
Consistency builds routine, which in turn builds habits, which then build lifestyles. It may take a little while to create the habit, but once it’s there it is pretty difficult to quit any habit. I remember a time when I dreaded running. Now, it would literally be harder for me to force myself not to run than to just go for a run. After you do the same thing over and over and over it becomes automatic, something like breathing. And not being able to do it becomes painful and unmanageable.
Make health automatic
You don’t wake up every morning and make a conscious decision to open your eyes, to breathe, to have your heart beat. And that’s what you want to get to with your workouts and way of eating. You wake up, put on your workout clothes, and get your exercise in for the day. That is just part of your routine, part of your day. There is no extraordinary effort to work out, it’s just naturally part of all the processes that make your body feel good.
