1. Will I lose weight?
If that is your goal, then YES! If you follow the nutritional and fitness guidelines then you will absolutely lose weight. Eating cleaner and working out harder will get your body lighter and more toned. You will feel much more comfortable being in your skin.

2. How hard will this be?
It all depends on your level of fitness and level of commitment to getting lean. It’s going to be hard and you will have to be committed 100% in order to achieve results. Remember, if a workout program was easy then it wouldn’t transform your body. This is your body and your life, put in a real effort and you will get incredible results. Remember, you are worth it!

3. What if I want to work out on my own schedule?

You can choose your own workouts every day or you can follow our fitness schedule which is updated weekly based on your progress. We recommend you follow the schedule that has been designed since it takes into account the whole program and not just what you feel like doing today. However, if you feel advanced enough to be able to pick and choose your own workouts, then go ahead!

4. What happens after the 12 weeks are over?
You will have learned so much about exercise and nutrition that you will be able to take with you into the rest of your life. These 4 weeks will help you to start building a solid foundation of health that will never go away for the rest of your life. After you learn the habits, behaviors and thought patterns that you need to achieve a lean physique, you will become a whole new person not just by the way you look but by the way you think and act in the gym and even more importantly, in the world.

5. What can I eat on the diet?
A grocery list is included as part of the program to help you shop for the necessary ingredients to prepare our Mission Lean recipes. In general, you will only be eating whole, nutritious foods with plenty of produce, healthy fats, and lean protein.

6. I have special dietary restrictions, can I still do this diet and program?
We have clearly marked which recipes are vegan, dairy-free, and gluten free. You have many options to choose from depending on what your restrictions are. If you have allergies, please check the list of ingredients to make sure you don’t consume something you may be allergic to.

7. What equipment do I need?
You don’t need any equipment and you can do the workouts anywhere that you are.

8. How long is each workout?
Most of the workouts can be completed in less than 45 minutes (if you include warmup and cooldown). On the Low Intensity days, you can spend more time performing lower intensity exercise such as yoga– it is up to you.

9. I have a medical issue/ injury. Can I still partake in your program?
As with every new workout program, you should check with your doctor to make sure you are fit enough to partake in this program. The program is intense and may not be right for you. Only a licensed medical professional familiar with your situation will be able to tell you.

10. I’ve never been into working out nor have I ever heard of these exercises before. This seems very confusing. Will I be able to do the workouts?
Congratulations on deciding to make a healthy lifestyle change! Don’t be scared to start. Once you get the hang of some basic terminology and moves you will be working out intensely in no time.


1. I have allergies, can I still do the program?
First and foremost, check with your doctor to see if the foods on our Grocery list are ok for you to consume. Almost all of the recipes are made from single ingredient foods so you will know right away if you can’t eat a recommended dish. Usually, there is a way to replace the allergen with something else or simply not include it in the recipe and still enjoy the dish. Most of the recipes are created with vegetables, whole grains, fish, nuts, seeds, and fruit.

2. I am a vegetarian/vegan… can I still do the program?
Definitely! Most of our recipes are plant-based and very rarely do we recommend eating meat or other animal products. When we do suggest a piece of chicken or turkey breast, you can easily choose not to add it or replace it with a different plant-based protein source.

3. I’m allergic to nuts. Can I still do the program?
Yes! Nuts are included in just a few recipes but can easily be removed or replaced with something else tasty and crunchy without sacrificing the integrity of the dish.

4. How much should I eat?
The recipes are written out as 1 portion. However, as you work out harder and get fitter in weeks 5-12, you may increase the portion sizes and listen to your body’s hunger/fullness cues.

    This is awesome. I found Mission Lean on Instagram where she posts lots of healthy eating ideas and workouts that you can follow. I had been following for months and finally decided to get the full program. And I’m so happy I did. It’s similar to the instagram but goes so much deeper into what to really do to get healthy and fit. I’m a fan.

    You can literally do the workouts anywhere. There is no equipment required and I live in California so I just do everything in my back yard. This makes it easy for me because I have a hectic schedule and just try to fit in workouts whenever I can. The recipes were really easy to make too because they have simple ingredients and most of them took me around 15 minutes to make. Now I have a whole system down for shopping and cooking quickly so I (almost) never succumb to takeout. 🙂

    I liked this program so much I wish it was longer. I mean, I am going to just go back to my favorite workouts and do them again, but it would be fun to keep following along. The workouts are that good. They hit all the trouble spots that women complain about. You know … thighs, butt, tummy. And, the moves really lean you down. I worked out with a trainer before and she had me doing all these moves that made my muscles get big. This is not like that at all! My muscles are small and tight as a result of the program so don’t worry about getting bulky on this and finish the program!!

    I just had my 2nd baby and was kind of struggling with starting to lose the baby weight but this program really helped. I followed the recipes pretty religiously but after a few weeks I started throwing in my own little touches to the recipes. The grocery shopping list is really helpful and you can basically get the hang of what it takes to eat healthfully from this program. The workout programs really helped me to start toning my stomach and hips. After 6 weeks, I already saw results and at the end I felt really confident and so much closer to my pre-baby weight.

    This is a whole new way to work out for me. I used to spend hours at the gym doing strength training that I read was good for you in magazines. On this program, I was in and out of the gym in 45 mins max. This changed my whole life because I was able to incorporate this way of working out multiple times a week versus when I could only go once a week and stay for hours. This is good for anyone who wants to get fit but doesn’t have a lot of time. Or anyone who doesn’t want to spend hours and hours at the gym.

    One of my mom friends told me about this and now the whole group is doing it. The workouts are really fun — you really feel the burn after you do the moves (and definitely the next day as well ;-). Plus they really hit the spots that I want to reduce. The cardio workouts are really good too because they break up the monotony of being on one of the gym machines. I even did a few of the track workouts which I’ve never done before in my life! I feel like a new person.

    No kidding about upgrading your workout. This is the next level. My stomach got so much flatter than ever after doing these workouts. I always had a little bit of a pooch and after following this I started to see results pretty quickly. It’s all about how you workout , the sequence of the moves and the intensity. So, I just followed along EXACTLY. And voila, exactly the results I was looking for.

    I sweat so much when I do these workouts. They’re really hard. I can’t always finish all of the reps but I definitely try. The program keeps you motivated and because the workouts are different every time you want to keep going and see what you’ll do this week. They get incrementally harder as well but I think most people would be up for the challenge for sure. You could always just do the moves slower or do less reps depending on how you feel. I haven’t been following the nutrition plan as much as I’d like because I’m really busy and don’t have time to go shopping. The recipes look easy enough, most are about 10-15 minutes to make and some are literally 5 minutes so if you have some time you would probably be able to follow the nutrition program. Overall, definitely worth doing.

    I did the get lean program first that’s only 4 weeks and liked it so much that I got this one after. This is the next level extension of the 4 week program. Theres like 5x more workouts in this one than the 4 week version and you can’t get bored because there’s so much variety. The workouts were my favorite but the nutrition plan could be useful for anyone who struggles in the eating department.

    I loved the whole eating and nutrition plan. First of all, it’s really easy to follow because it’s arranged day by day so you just follow whatever’s on the day’s menu. Then, all the recipes are quick and don’t make you learn fancy cooking techniques or anything. Simple is seriously best. Because I’ve been able to do this every day, this new way of eating has become a habit and will be easy to keep up forever. The workouts are great too.

    LOOOOOOOOOVE this. I’ve tried all different workouts and diet plans and this one is one of my faves. I like that the workouts are all about lean muscle and making your body lean and strong. So you are healthy and improve your fitness as you go through the program. The eating is healthy too and supports the workouts that you’re doing. I think this is a really healthy option if you’re looking for a plan to follow.

    Being lean really does feel amazing. It’s all about strength and getting more fit, not just getting skinny like a lot of unhealthy programs promise you. In Lean Transform, you eat plenty of healthy foods and then work out to keep improving your fitness level. All about fueling your workouts and then toning your body. I am going to definitely do another Mission Lean program.

    I’ve been meaning to get back to the gym for a while and this was the perfect way to do it. Every workout is organized and you know what to do when and how. Takes the thinking completely out of weight loss and you don’t have to plan anything because it’s already done for you. Really easy to follow.

    The videos are really helpful because you can watch how to do the moves. I never worked out much before and was totally lost at the gym so this was super helpful to me. Some of the moves I knew and a lot of them I’ve never done before, but I was able to follow along pretty much everything because of the video quality.

    This is the 2nd mission lean program that I tried and I like this one even better than Get Lean. There are way more exercises and workouts in this one and more recipes too as well. Get Lean is a good start for anyone just beginning an exercise program but I’m pretty advanced and this was a much better program for me. Go with this if you’ve worked out for 6 months or more and Get Lean if you’re more of a newbie.
